Merry christmas

Hi guys!
As you know there are only two days  left for christmas.Do you  know what are you going to do at christmas?
If you don't,I'll recommend you some things to do, not to get bored.

Do you like christmas movies ? If you do,I think that you should watch "love actually".It's a beautiful film that consists of a lot of different stories of love,I mean,a love between a father and his son,a love between the president and her secretary, a love between a manager and his client and they are all connected.I think that it's worth to see it.

 If you don't like christmas films and you like fantasy you can watch "harry potter" , there are 8 films of it.
It consists of a boy  called harry who lives with his aunt ,uncle and with his cousin but they treat harry as he was less than them.One day harry receives a letter saying that he was accepted in howards , a school of magic.He doesn't understand anything but he wants to go there ,but his  aunt and uncle don't let him to go  and one night a guy called hagrid goes to harry's house and he tells him why he was accepted in howards, he finds out that his parents were magicians and he goes to that school and lives a lot of dangerous adventures and he finds real friendship.It's a very nice saga.

If you prefer to read books, I think that you should read the diary of Anne frank,it's based on real facts .The setting of this book is in Netherlands and the historical event is when the nazis occupied the Netherlands .A Jewish girl called Anne has to go into hiding during world war 2 to escape from the Nazis . Together with her family and other, they are hidden in a place where the Nazis won't find them . Anne explains how she lives there and how boring it is to stay all day in an indoor place.She also falls in love with a boy of the other family.
I think that this book it is beautiful and it is an interesting way to learn about history and how people felt when they were in those cirmcunstances.In my opinion everyone should read it.

Malala Youszafai

In our ICT class we've been doing an exercise about the  people who won the Nobel prizes  between the years 1996 and 2016 and our teacher told us to choose one of them.I've chosen Malala Youszafai ,she was given the  nobel  peace prize because she defends women's schooling,she is the youngest -ever Nobel prize  laureate.

Malala Yousafzai was born on July 12, 1997, in Mingora, Pakistan. As a child, she became an advocate for girls' education, which resulted in the Taliban issuing a death threat against her. On October 9, 2012, a gunman shot Malala when she was traveling home from school. She survived, and has continued to speak out on the importance of education. She was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize in 2013. In 2014, she was nominated again and won, becoming the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

Yousafzai attended a school that her father, Ziauddin Yousafzai, had founded. After the Taliban began attacking girls' schools in Swat, Malala gave a speech in Peshawar, Pakistan, in September 2008. The title of her talk was, "How dare the Taliban take away my basic right to education?"

In early 2009, Yousafzai began blogging for the BBC about living under the Taliban's threats to deny her an education. In order to hide her identity, she used the name Gul Makai. However, she was revealed to be the BBC blogger in December of that year.

I have chosen Malala youszafai because I think that she has inspired a lot of people and she has become the role model  of a lot of people.Even though she was shot ,she had the encouragement to go trough in life giving importan speeches about how important is education.

In our ICT class we have alredy learned how to make a mind map.Although it sounds a little bit difficult,it's quite easy to do it.We have used an application called mind42.I have chosen the topic of the French revolution because we've been learning that in social sciences and apart from that I think that it's necessary to know this revolution that had a lot of importance.

Social sites

In our daily lives social sites  have  a very big importance because everybody uses them  to communicate.Do you know someone who hasn't got  any  social sites?

Both adults and teenagers spend a lot of time every day with these sites but  do you think that it is good to spend so much time looking at a screen? As everything it has its own advantages and disadvantages.

Let's start with the advantages,I think that the biggest advantages are that you get informed about the things that happen in the world very quickly,we can also mention that they are very useful to find a  job and apart from that we can also meet new people .

Concerning disadvantages,from my point of view these sites decrease face to face communication and reduce family closeness ,many people have lost many relationships because of these networking sites.Moreover,you can get distracted very easily and that's not good because you can become addicted.Apart from that these types of accounts,not always give reliable information so you have to be very careful at the time of getting informed.When you post a photo or a comment take  into account that even if you think that only the people who follow you can see it ,it's not totally true and last but not least ,In my opinion the worst disadvantage of these sites is  cyberbullying.

Do you know what cyberbulying is?Cyberbullying is the use of cell phones, instant messaging, e-mail, chat rooms or social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter to harass, threaten or intimidate someone.

Cyberbullying is often done by children, who have increasingly early access to these technologies. The problem is compounded by the fact that a bully can hide behind a pseudonymous user name, disguising his or her true identity. This secrecy makes it difficult to trace the source and encourages bullies to behave more aggressively than they might in a situation where they were identified.

In conclusion,I think that facebook,instagram and these type of sites are not bad when you use them carefully but if you don't use them properly you can have serious problems.
